Well, CJ needs four separate evaluations: Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Psychology and a Developmental Pediatrician. And yes, it's four different appointment all at least an hour away. Lovely. One appointment is in August, two in October and one in December. Safe to say we won't have a diagnosis til after the new year.
Do any of you know any moms/dads with children that have Autism/Aspergers? If so please let me know. I'm looking at the dietary changes that are suggested and want others opinions on them. Also, just looking into different treatment methods.
I have been asked by a couple of people how all of this makes me feel. In a way I feel that what I'm feeling is wrong but at the same time right. I feel sad that it's happening to my son. I'm angered for the same reason. At the same time I'm happy that we're finally getting this nailed down and figuring out how to handle my little angel. On a brighter note (literally)...it's sunny today! It's been rainy for awhile now so having the sun has been great :)

It will be so good once you get through all the appointments. I think it's funny you say it's sunny and then it rains and hails. Damn Colorado!
